Magazine honors NH leader, firms
MANCHESTER – Dick Anagnost has been named the 2016 Business Leader of the Year by Business NH Magazine. Anagnost is being honored for his leadership in the state, his passion for helping many New Hampshire nonprofits and his ownership of Anagnost Companies of Manchester.
Business NH also announced its Business of the Year award winners, which are featured in the May issue. The following companies were chosen for their outstanding civic contributions and exceptional performance within their industry sector:
Business assistance organization: Northern Community Investment Corp., Lancaster.
Business services: Sheehan Phinney, Manchester.
Construction/engineering/real estate: TFMoran Inc., Bedford.
Education/nonprofit: Gateways Community Services, Nashua.
Financial services/insurance: Foy Insurance Group, Exeter.
Health care: Frisbie Memorial Hospital, Rochester.
Hospitality/tourism: New Hampshire Fisher Cats, Manchester.
Manufacturing/technology: Dyn, Manchester.
Retail/wholesale: AutoFair, Manchester.
All businesses must be nominated by a chamber of commerce executive. A panel consisting of executives from the 2015 Business of the Year award-winning businesses selected this year’s recipients.
Awards will be presented at a special luncheon from 11:30 a.m.-1:30 p.m. Thursday, May 26 at the Radisson Hotel in Manchester.
Tickets for the luncheon are $65 per person, $496 for a table of eight or $600 for a table of 10. A portion of the proceeds will benefit the NH Association of Chamber of Commerce Executives scholarship fund.
