Bedford startup named finalist in regional contest
MANCHESTER – The Manchester Young Professionals’ Network has announced the finalists of its 2015 Startup Challenge: BevNow, of Manchester; ChartaCloud Technologies, of Portsmouth; TestNotice, of Bedford; and VidFall, of Manchester.
The four finalists were chosen after the “Live Pitch” event last week where semifinalists made their best pitch to the judges and audience.
“These may have been our best live pitches and most well-thought-out business plans to date,” said Tim Paradis, Startup Challenge chair. “It was really hard to narrow the pool to four finalists. The final judges have their work cut out for them!”
Next, the four finalists will pitch their businesses to a panel of judges made up of professionals from the business, startup and nonprofit sectors, after which the ultimate winner of a prize package of cash and in-kind services worth up to $55,000 will be chosen.
The winner will be announced at the final event June 17 at the New Hampshire Institute of Politics at Saint Anselm College. Details are at mypn.org.
