NASHUA – A local sex offender has been arrested for failing to report a change of address, police said.

Jason English, 34, of 38 Chandler St., is charged with failing to report and inform police of a change of information, police said. English faces two Class B felony charges, each punishable by up to seven years in prison plus fines, police said.

English was arrested at 10:11 a.m. Sunday on a warrant, police said.

On Dec. 26, detectives from the Youth Services Division identified English, a Tier III registered sex offender, as being in violation of his registration requirements, police said. English is required to report quarterly to the Nashua Police Department. English failed to report for his Dec. 8 registration and to notify the Police Department of his change of address as he is required to do, police said.

English was held on $2,000 cash or surety bail and was scheduled for arraignment Monday at Nashua district court, police said.
