Legendary Nashua rockers at Alpine Friday

HOLLIS – An all-star lineup of Nashua rock and roll legends will join other performers, including a Grateful Dead tribute band, for a Friday night jam session to benefit the Nashua Children’s Association.

Doors open at 6 at Alpine Grove on South Depot Road, with the show starting around 7. Tickets for the all-ages show are $20 each and will be available at the door.

The Distractions, a fairly new band that features three Aces & Eights originals – Buddy Bernard, Roger Haas and Jim Hinkle – along with Randy Tryder, is hosting the show. Also performing are the Jivecats, which includes two other Aces originals, Dave West and Dirt Munson, along with Dennis Wells, Kathy Nikitas and others.

The card also features DEAD UnderCover, the regional Grateful Dead tribute band. And to round things about, former Aces member Rick Haas, along with longtime singer/songwriter Peter Hostage, will team up with some of The Distractions and Jivecats members as “Almost Aces & Eights.”
