National Drinking Water Week starts May 6

As part of National Drinking Water Week, which runs May 6-12, Pennichuck Water Works will be celebrating with tours of its treatment plant for fourth-graders from area elementary schools.

American Water Works Association is also sponsoring a coloring contest for students to draw pictures showing how water is essential to their daily lives. Pennichuck will be collecting drawings from local schools and selecting a winner to be submitted to AWWA.
