Second teen arrested in connection with underage drinking party
HOLLIS – A Massachusetts teenager was arrested Thursday in connection with an April 6 underage drinking party that resulted in the arrest of another teen earlier this week.
Connor A. Shea, 18, of Marblehead, Mass. was arrested on a warrant after turning himself in at the poice station. Shea was charged with a Class A misdemeanor count of prohibited sales and unlawful possession of alcohol, a violation.
He was released on $2,000 pesonal recognizance bail and is scheduled for arraignment May 16 at Nashua District Court.
Shea was the second person arrested this week in connection with the party at 25 Arbor Lane.
On Tuesday, Matthew Murphy, 18, of 25 Arbor Lane was arrested on a warrant and charged with facilitating an underage drinking party. He was released on $3,000 personal recognizance bail and will also be arraigned on May 16.
Police said they were first alerted to the party at approximately 11 p.m. on April 6 by an anonymous caller. Officers made contact with the adult female homeowner, but she was uncooperative.
While she was talking to officers, several juveniles tried to leave the basement through a rear door, police said.
Police obtained a search warrant and returned at 3:40 a.m. Officers recovered alcohol and identified eight underage subjects.
