Connecticut man killed Thursday night in Dummer crash
DUMMER – A Connecticut man was killed late Thursday night in a single-car crash in Dummer.
Steven Lambert, of Manchester, Conn., was traveling north on Route 16 about 11:45 p.m., when he lost control of his vehicle rounding a curve, and he drove off the roadway into some trees.
Lambert, 40, a former Berlin resident, suffered severe head and chest trauma and was pronounced dead at the scene, according to N.H. State Police Sgt. Robert Terhune.
The crash remains under investigation, but early indications are that speed and alcohol may have played a role, according to Terhune.
