Rivier College holding culture celebration Thursday

NASHUA – Rivier College is hosting a culture celebration Thursday to promote awareness of other cultures and feature local businesses and organizations.

Rivier College will host its Multicultural Celebration Day from 5:30-8 p.m. in the Dion Center. It will feature Greek dancers from the St. Philip Hellenic Dance Troupe with performances at 5:40 and 6:55, as well as the step team from the Boys & Girls Club of Greater Nashua at 6:05 and a Filipino-American dance troupe at 6:30.

Nashua High School North will also hold its Festival of Cultures event next month, May 24, starting at 5:30 p.m. Students have solicited food donations from local restaurants and several groups will perform in the auditorium. World Language students will have their class projects on display, as well.
