Hollis police charge two with alcohol infractions at high school ‘Guitar Night’
HOLLIS – Police arrested two men on alcohol-related charges outside a guitar showcase at Hollis Brookline High School on Friday night.
A detail officer at the school for Guitar Night spotted a 16-year-old girl unresponsive in a car in the school’s parking lot around 8:15 p.m., police said.
Other officers arrived and the girl was treated by Hollis Ambulance when it was discovered she was highly intoxicated, police said.
Police investigated and arrested Christopher Delisle, 21, of Ruby Road in New Boston, charging him with prohibited sales of alcohol and three counts of endangering the welfare of a child, all of which are Class A misdemeanors, police said.
Two other minors, ages 14 and 16, were found in the car and were intoxicated. All three juveniles were released to their parents, police said.
Less than an hour later, around 9 p.m., the detail officer spotted alcohol in another car in the parking lot. After investigating, police charged a 19-year-old man, Philip Gerekos, 19, of West Hollis Street, Hollis, with unlawful possession of alcohol, a violation, police said.
Delisle was released on $1,000 cash or surety bail and Gerekos on $1,000 personal recognizance bail pending arraignments at Nashua district court on May 2, police said.
