Nashua police, FBI charge city man with being fugitive from justice
Nashua Police and FBI agents arrested a city man Friday and charged him with being a fugitive from justice out of Massachusetts.
Police arrested Barry English, 25, of 84 Wethersfield Road, Nashua, around 2:30 p.m. Friday. Agents from the FBI’s Gang Task Force also participated, police said.
English is the subject of an arrest warrant from Lowell, Mass., charging him with unlawful possession of a firearm, possession of cocaine with intent to distribute, possession of a firearm in the commission of a felony and receiving stolen property, police said.
English is also on parole with the New Hampshire Department of Corrections, police said.
English was held without bail over the weekend and is scheduled to be arraigned at Nashua district court Monday, police said, likely followed by extradition to Massachusetts.
