Canobie Lake Park holding job fair for hundreds of positions

SALEM – It will be a smaller scale than Merrimack Premium Outlet’s version last week, but Canobie Lake Park will host a job fair of its own this weekend.

The Salem amusement park has hundreds of openings and has invited job seekers to the park from 10 a.m.-2 p.m. Saturday to apply.

The park is looking for ride and game attendants, cashiers, EMTs, security guards, food service workers, mechanics, custodians and more, according to a release.

The park is set to open April 28.

“We’re expecting a sizeable turnout and we’ll be prepared,” said Chris Nicoli, the park’s marketing and entertainment manager, in a press release. “The economy is improving, but there are many people in the area still seeking employment. We offer a fun place to work and are hoping to fill positions across the board.”

The park is on on Bus Road. For more information, visit www.canobie.com.
