Man suffers seizure, hits three parked cars on Main Street

NASHUA – Main Street traffic was snarled Saturday afternoon after a local man suffered a seizure while driving and side-swiped three cars parked in front of Espresso’s Pizza.

No one was in the parked vehicles and the impact was minor, police said.

The driver, who suffers a condition of chronic seizures and diabetes, was taken to Southern New Hampshire Medical Center for treatment but was believed to be in stable condition, police said.

Following the accident, the man’s black Nissan sat to the left side of the parked cars with some frontal damage to its fender.

Three police cruisers and an ambulance responded to the scene, and directed traffic around the vehicles involved, plus a scattering of light debris left in the road.

The driver’s age and name were not known as of Saturday afternoon, police said.
