Nashua teacher arrested twice in same day

A teacher at a local alternative high school was reportedly arrested March 18 after police said the hand brake on her husband’s motorcycle was damaged.

She was arrested again later that day for default or breach of bail conditions.

According to the Nashua Patch, Rebecca Marie McHugh, 39, of Concord, was charged with simple assault and criminal mischief.

An arrest report said McHugh is a teacher at Clearway High School, an alternative high school in Nashua.

McHugh’s first arrest was at 4:10 p.m. Police arrested her again around 11 p.m. No details are available about the second arrest.

For the original charges, personal recognizance bail was set at $4,000. A court date of April 23 was set.

For the second charge, cash bail of $4,000 was set. A court date of March 19 was set.
