Nashua police: Woman threatened with knife
Nashua police arrested a 20-year-old man Saturday and accused him of using a knife to threaten a woman he knows.
Police arrested Jonathan Melanson, of 83 Palm St., Nashua, a little before 9 p.m. Saturday and charged him with felony-level criminal threatening, police said.
Police were called to the area of 82 Palm St. shortly before 8 p.m. for a reported disturbance. They determined that the woman had been threatened with serious bodily harm with a knife, police said.
No one was injured in the incident, police said.
Melanson was released on personal recognizance bail and was scheduled to be arraigned Monday at Nashua district court, police said.
The Class B felony charge is punishable by up to seven years in prison, plus fines, police said.
