Condra remains on Wilton Board of Selectmen
WILTON – William F. Condra was re-elected to the Board of Selectmen, out-polling three other candidates for the post he has held for four years.
Condra received 204 votes to 97 for James Tuttle, a current sewer commissioner and member of the Fire State Committee; 96 for Kellie-Sue Boissonnault, who was making only her second run for elected office; and 77 for Robert Duquette, a member of the Board of Water and Sewer Commissioners who also ran in 2010.
In a ballot question, voters rejected a move to adopt the provisions of Senate Bill 2, which would allow the district to make decisions on warrant articles at the polls rather than at a traditional school district meeting. The vote was 237-202.
Wilton still has decisions to make: Town Meeting will be held at 7 p.m. Thursday at Florence Rideout Elementary School, with 17 articles on the town warrant.
