Hudson woman charged with passing bogus $20 bills

HUDSON – A local woman has been charged with passing counterfeit $20 bills throughout town, police said.

Brenda Summers, 51, of Hudson, was arrested March 7 on an outstanding warrant and charged with one count of forgery, a Class A felony punishable by seven to 15 years in prison.

The investigation is ongoing, police said.

Summers was booked at the Hudson Police Department and held in lieu of $2,000 cash bail. She was transported to the Valley Street jail in Manchester and arraigned by video in Nashua district court March 8.
