Police charge Nashua woman in check forgeries
Nashua police charged a woman with eight counts of forgery this week, accusing her of forging her name on numerous checks.
Police arrested Alicia Gagnon, 22, of 33 Lock St., Nashua, around 6 p.m. Tuesday and charged her with the Class B felonies, police said.
Police took reports of forgery from two victims on April 20 and June 24 . An investigation determined Gagnon had forged the checks and that she knew both of the victims, police said.
Gagnon was held on $1,500 cash or surety bail and arraigned at Nashua district court on Wednesday, police said.
Class B felonies are punishable by up to seven years in prison, plus fines.
