Drug charges follow Milford motor vehicle stop

MILFORD – Things quickly got worse for a 32-year-old local man last week after police pulled him over for an alleged traffic light violation.

Denard R. Debruhl IV, of 54 Joslin Road, ended up in police custody shortly before noon on Friday, Feb. 18, facing a slew of charges including three traffic violations and five counts of possession of narcotic drugs, according to police records.

Debruhl was also charged with disobeying a police officer.

Beside the traffic light violation, he is also charged with driving after revocation or suspension and a yellow line violation, police state.

Debruhl, who is scheduled to appear in Milford district court March 14, was initially held on $10,000 personal recognizance bail; police records didn’t state whether he’d been freed on bail.
