Winter parking ban in Hudson starts Thursday
HUDSON – Cars parked overnight on Hudson streets will face a fine starting Thursday , as police announced the start of the town’s annual winter parking ban.
Drivers aren’t allowed to park on public streets between 11 p.m. and 7 a.m., or else they’ll receive a $20 ticket.
The ban is effective until March 30.
The Department of Public Works must remove snow from the roads after an overnight snowstorm, police said, and parked cars make the process more difficult.
Checks should be made payable to the town of Hudson, police said. If someone doesn’t pay the fine within 72 hours, he or she may be issued a summons to appear at 9th Circuit Court Nashua District Division and may possibly be subject to additional fines.
