2 of 3 in area still lack power; Friday return seen

Slightly less than two-thirds of Nashua customers are still without power as of 8:45 p.m. Tuesday, while virtually all of Windham and a large number of Hollis and Litchfield, remain without electricity. PSNH does not expect most area towns to be 95 percent restored until midnight Thursday at the earliest.

Here is a list of the number of PSNH customers without power as of 8:45 p.m. Tuesday, and the percentage of PSNH customers in each town who are affected.

Below each town is PSNH’s estimate of when that town will be 95 percent restored.

Nashua: 22,263 of 40,028 customers, 56 percent; Friday noon.

Amherst: 3,406 of 5,338 customers, 64 percent; Friday noon.

Bedford: 3,544 of 9,013 customers, 39 percent; Friday noon.

Brookline: 1,440 of 1,998 customers, 72 percent; Friday noon.

Hollis: 2,709 of 3,236 customers, 81 percent; Friday noon.

Hudson: 8,045 of 10,665 customers, 75 percent; Thursday midnight.

Litchfield: 2,594 of 3,268 customers, 79 percent; Thursday midnight.

Lyndeborough: 275 of 811 customers, 34 percent; Tuesday midnight.

Merrimack: 6,870 of 11,172 customers, 62 percent; Friday noon.

Milford: 2,946 of 7,290 customers, 40 percent; Friday noon.

Mont Vernon: 510 of 977 customers, 52 percent; Thursday midnight (99 percent).

Wilton: 573 of 2,265 customers, 30 percent; Thursday midnight.

Windham: 4,800 of 4,389 customers, 90 percent; Thursday midnight.

Area total: 66,780 of 100,940 customers, 59 percent.
