Nashua’s Old Navy to support troops July 1-4

NASHUA – Old Navy, at 4 E. Spit Brook Road, invites shoppers to think of the troops when they stop in to shop this weekend.

“Operation Troop Donation,” Old Navy’s nationwide donation drive to support the men and women serving the country overseas and at home, will take place Friday through Monday .

The popular clothing franchise partners with Operation: Care and Comfort for the third year to collect essential items needed by the military.

Shoppers can donate Old Navy items like T-shirts, underwear, socks and flip flops, or make a cash donation that Old Navy will match up to $100,000.

Additional items, including unused personal care items, are also being collected by armed service volunteers at Old Navy locations.

The Nashua location also plans to set up a spot next to the donation station for families to write letters to the troops.

Old Navy customers who participate in “Operation Troop Donation” by making a donation in either product or cash will receive an additional 10 percent discount off their entire store purchase that day.
