Snow to continue all day, NWS predicts

The National Weather Service now calls for roughly 7 to 11 inches of snow to fall today in the Nashua area, with northeasterly winds and temperatures topping off around 28 degrees (F).

The snow will likely keep falling this evening, but should end by midnight, the NWS predicts.

The National Weather Service - a division of the National Ocean and Atmospheric Administration - has issued a winter storm warning covering most of New England, excepting only northern Vermont, New Hampshire and Maine. The Boston and North Shore (Mass.) areas are under blizzard warnings.

Once the snow stops, there should be time to recover, however; the next chance of snow doesn't come until Saturday, and skies should be sunny in between, the NWS predicts.
