Nashua teen threatens to kill two with knife, police say

NASHUA – A Nashua teen armed with a knife is accused of breaking into an apartment Friday, threatening to kill two people inside and stealing electronics, police said.

Tariq Zubhuza, 18, of 37 Vine St., was charged with numerous crimes in the incident, which occurred at an apartment on Ash Street around 5:30 a.m., police said.

Officers were called to the apartment for a burglary in progress. Zubhuza forced his way in by kicking the door down, according to the police log, and then threatened to kill a 17-year-old and 14-year-old inside.

Zubhuza is also accused of stealing electronics worth more than $1,000.

Zubhuza was charged with burglary, robbery, theft, and two counts of criminal threatening – all felonies.

His bail was set at $50,000 cash and he is scheduled to be arraigned in Nashua District Court today.
