Holiday auction is benefiting the Special Olympics
An online holiday auction is going on through Dec. 7, with proceeds going directly toward New Hampshire Special Olympics athletes.
“Over one hundred extra special gift solutions are ready for competitive bidding or instant purchase,” a press release said.
Some of the available items include gourmet food and wine baskets, sports tickets and memorabilia, entertainment and dining gift cards, golf and fitness club memberships, family activities and more.
“There are even unique experiences and gifts available for the people who have everything,” the press release said. “Spreading the holiday spirit is easy at the Special Olympics Holiday Auction.”
Gifts will be delivered to New Hampshire residents Dec. 15, and mailed to out-of-state shoppers on Dec. 13.
Bidders also can opt to sponsor a Special Olympics athlete.
The Special Olympics, the release states, are “part of an international global movement that unleashes the human spirit through the transformative power and job of sports, every day around the world.”
An athlete also will write out a thank-you card for all gifts purchased.
