Last hazardous waste collection of 2017 set

NASHUA – The Nashua Regional Planning Commision will hold its last Household Hazardous Waste Collection for the 2017 season this Saturday, Nov. 4.

Waste will be collected from 8 a.m. to 12 p.m. at the Nashua Public Works Garage, 9 Stadium Dr., Nashua, New Hampshire.

There is a $10 user fee per vehicle with additional charges for quantities exceeding 10 gallons or 20 pounds.

Residents of Amherst, Brookline, Hollis, Hudson, Litchfield, Merrimack, Milford, Mont Vernon, Nashua Pelham and Windham can participate.

It’s asked that no latex paint, electronics or medications be disposed of and a list of other prohibited and accepted items can be found online at www.nashua
