Nashua police investigating robbery on Palm Street bike path

Nashua police are looking for two men who they say assaulted and robbed a pair of men on a city bike path last week.

Police were called to the bike path near Palm Street shortly before 10 p.m. Friday, Aug. 29, for a reported robbery. Officers were told that one man had been punched in the face and hit on the back of the head with a bottle and that the second man had been knocked to the ground and had his wallet stolen, police said. ...

Nashua police are looking for two men who they say assaulted and robbed a pair of men on a city bike path last week.

Police were called to the bike path near Palm Street shortly before 10 p.m. Friday, Aug. 29, for a reported robbery. Officers were told that one man had been punched in the face and hit on the back of the head with a bottle and that the second man had been knocked to the ground and had his wallet stolen, police said.

The assailants were described as being in their late teens. One of them was black and the other was white or Hispanic, police said.

The victim who was hit with a bottle was treated at Southern New Hampshire Medical Center for injuries that were not life-threatening. The other victim refused medical treatment, police said.

Anyone with information about the robbery is asked to call police at 594-3500 or the Nashua Crimeline at 589-1665.
