Most people don’t get pizza, popcorn and ice cream when they visit the police department.

But on Sept. 20, things will be a little different at the Nashua Police Department. Police will host an open house at the station from 10 a.m.-4 p.m.

The public is invited to view the holding area, firearms range and police vehicles, including the mobile command unit and BearCat. The department’s firearms training simulator will also be on display.

Activities will be held for children, and between 11 and 1 p.m., free food will be provided.

The Police Department is on Panther Drive near Nashua High School South.
