Pelham man dies when his motorcycle and a car collide

PELHAM – A 24-year-old Pelham man was killed Tuesday evening after the motorcycle he was riding collided with a car.

According to Pelham Police, shortly after 8 p.m. the man was riding a 2005 Kawasaki ZX 636 motorcycle north on Mammoth Road when it collided with a 2013 white Honda Fit sedan, operated by a 22-year-old female from Salem. The collision happened at the intersection of Mammoth and Tenney roads. ...

PELHAM – A 24-year-old Pelham man was killed Tuesday evening after the motorcycle he was riding collided with a car.

According to Pelham Police, shortly after 8 p.m. the man was riding a 2005 Kawasaki ZX 636 motorcycle north on Mammoth Road when it collided with a 2013 white Honda Fit sedan, operated by a 22-year-old female from Salem. The collision happened at the intersection of Mammoth and Tenney roads.

The driver was thrown from his motorcycle. He was not wearing a helmet and was unconscious when officers arrived on scene. He died soon afterward.

The driver of the Honda was transported to the Southern New Hampshire Regional Medical Center. She reportedly suffered minor injuries and was released.

The crash remains under investigation.
