NASHUA – The state is sponsoring a job fair at Nashua Community College on Tuesday, Aug. 19, that will be focused on veterans, although it will also be open to the general public.

New Hampshire Employment Security is hosting the Job Fair at the college, 505 Amherst St., from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.

The first two hours of the job fair, from 10 a.m. to noon, will be open exclusively for veterans and their spouses. It will be open to the general public from noon to 2 p.m.

Employers from a wide assortment of industries are looking to fill an array of positions, including manufacturing, retail, service, hospitality, and health care.

“The Nashua Job Fair with its focus on our veterans is one way we can thank New Hampshire’s veterans for their service to our nation,” said Commissioner George Copadis of New Hampshire Employment Security.

NHES said job seekers should dress professionally, bring copies of their resumes and be prepared to interview immediately.
