“The focus … is to collect enough food to ensure families that are signed up for the Food Pantry Backpack Program at the Amherst Street Elementary School have enough food to fill their backpacks as they return to school,” said Debbie Caron, the Nashua Marketing Manager of UNO Pizzeria & Grill.

Caron said all this week, nonperishable food items may be donated at UNO on 593 Amherst St. or at the Nashua Police Department. Monetary donations can be made through the school’s website.
