Hudson police are asking the public for help tracking down a man who they said stole from the Wal-Mart store on Lowell Road twice earlier this month.

Police said they were called to the store July 11 for a report of a man who had taken merchandise and then fled on foot. Employees at the store recognized the man as the same person who had stolen items four days earlier, police said.

The man is described as a white male wearing a green Boston Celtics visor and tan khaki shorts. He fled the area in a white pickup truck after the first theft, police said.

Anyone with information is asked to call Hudson police officer Jason Downey at 886-6011.
