Police in two local towns arrested nine people at separate sobriety checkpoints held over the weekend.

In Hollis, police stopped about 300 vehicles at a checkpoint they ran on Route 111 on Saturday and arrested four people. They arrested:

Kevin Faulcon, 47, of First Avenue, Pepperell, Mass., was charged with possession and transportation of marijuana, Class B misdemeanors, and released on $4,000 personal recognizance bail, police said.

Jay Adamik, 43, of Leighton Street, Pepperell, Mass., was also charged with possession and transportation of marijuana and released on $4,000 personal recognizance bail, police said.

Both men will be arraigned at Nashua district court on Sept. 3, police said.

Beth Deamicis, 32, of Monarch Avenue, Goffstown, was charged with driving while intoxicated, a Class B misdemeanor, and released on $5,000 personal recognizance bail. She will be arraigned at Nashua district court on July 31, police said.

n Brian Perez, 19, of Hartford Lane, Nashua, was charged with possession and transportation of marijuana and released on $1,000 personal recognizance bail with a Sept. 3 arraignment date, police said.

Five people were arrested at a checkpoint Lononderry and state police held on Friday from 9 p.m. to 3 a.m. Saturday. Police there stopped 218 vehicles and arrested:

Kaylei Judkins, 23, of Derry, on outstanding warrants.

Courtney Jewett, 24, of Manchester, on felony possession of a controlled drug.

George Theberg, 37, of Manchester, of felony possession of a controlled drug, and

Jose Valentin, 28, of Derry, on misdemeanor possession of a controlled drug, police said.

A juvenile was also arrested for minor in possession of alcohol, police said.
