NASHUA – Police arrested a city man on felony charges earlier this month and accused him of accidentally firing a bullet into an apartment complex.

Police were called around 11:30 a.m. on May 25 for a report of shots fired near a local apartment complex and a woman there told officers a bullet had been shot into her apartment, police said.

Patrol officers identified Nicholas Kolhonen, 22, of 6 Silver Drive, Apt. 20, Nashua, as a possible suspect and detectives later charged him with felony reckless conduct after determining the shot had been fired as a result of an accidental discharge, police said.

Kolhonen was arrested around 1:30 on July 5 and released on $15,000 personal recognizance bail pending his arraignment at Nashua district court, police said.

The Class B felony is punishable by up to seven years in prison plus fines, police said.
