NASHUA – Police arrested a Bedford woman this week they said defrauded a local bank.

Police were contacted by the bank and told it had lost a sum of money as the result of check fraud. Detectives investigated and arrested Tamra Snyder, of 7 Mack St., Bedford, on Wednesday, police said.

Snyder was released on personal recognizance bail and will be arraigned at Nashua district court, police said.

The Class B felony is punishable by up to seven years in prison plus fines, police said.
