A Hudson man was arrested in Vermont and later charged by Nashua police with exposing himself to a child multiple times.

Police and the Division of Children Youth and Families investigated a report of indecent exposures to a child beginning on May 23, police said, and Special Investigations Division detectives later issued an arrest warrant for Luc Carrier, 58, of 41 Bush Hill Road, Hudson.

Carrier was found by Vermont police, who charged him with being a fugitive from justice. He waived extradition and was charged in Nashua on Tuesday, police said.

Carrier is charged with one count of indecent exposure and lewdness, a Class B felony, and one count of exposing minors to harmful materials, a misdemeanor. He was held overnight at the Nashua police department and arraigned at Nashua district court Wednesday morning.

Class B felonies are punishable by up to seven years in prison plus fines and Class A misdemeanors are punishable by up to a year in jail, police said.
