Merrimack man charged in gun threat Saturday

MERRIMACK – Police charged a Wire Road resident with pointing a gun at two people inside a vehicle parked in the man’s driveway Saturday night.

MERRIMACK – Police charged a Wire Road resident with pointing a gun at two people inside a vehicle parked in the man’s driveway Saturday night.

Police were called to 28 Wire Road shortly before 9 p.m. when two people reported that they had been in a vehicle at the end of the driveway when a man came out and pointed a handgun at both of them, police said.

Several officers contacted the resident of the home, 43-year-old Daniel Latour, and after a brief investigation, arrested him and seized the handgun, police said.

Latour is charged with criminal threatening. He posted $1,000 cash bail and will be arraigned at Merrimack district court, police said.
