Merrimack police were called to Bedford Road around 5:15 p.m. Thursday when a caller said he or she had seen a man get out of a car, take a sign and flags attached to a speed-radar trailer, and leave the area, police said.

The witness noted the car’s license plate, and police traced it to Adrian Wong, 19, of 65 Rosewell Road, Bedford. He is charged with theft by unauthorized taking, and is free on $1,000 personal recognizance bail pending his arraignment at Merrimack district court on June 26, police said.
