MERRIMACK – Police are investigating the death of a Manchester woman who was found at a home at 86 Wire Road in Merrimack earlier this month.

A resident of the home called police the morning of June 4 to report the incident, Merrimack police Capt. Peter Albert said.

Albert said police notified the county attorney’s office and the Office of the Chief Medical Examiner, which is responsible for determining the cause and manner of sudden, unexpected or unnatural deaths. Albert said the results of an autopsy were still pending.

“There’s not a lot I can really comment on it,” he said Tuesday. “The detectives have that investigation at this point.”
