Hudson police are investigating a Monday morning crash on Lowell Road that involved an ambulance.

Police were called to the intersection of Lowell Road and Winnhaven Drive shortly before 10:30 a.m. Monday after a 2008 Mazda 6 collided with a Hudson Fire Department ambulance, police said.

An investigation determined that the ambulance and Mazda were driving south. The ambulances siren and lights were running, and it was on its way to a medical emergency on Winnhaven Drive. The Mazda struck the ambulance near the passenger side door as the ambulance was turning right onto Winnhaven, police said.

The Mazda was being driven by Gabriella Mastantuono, 27, of Nashua, who had her infant son in a car seat. The ambulance held two Hudson firefighters, police said.

No one was injured in the crash and police are continuing to investigate, police said.
