Humane Society for Greater Nashua
Glacier and Friends
Hi, there! My friends and I are gorgeous, nice, young parakeets looking for our forever homes. We came in together but can go home alone or in pairs. We need someone to help us get used to basic handling and interaction to show you what great pets we can be. A home with an experienced bird owner or someone who has done their homework on parakeets would be ideal for us. Also, our wings were recently clipped and need to be kept maintained. If we sound like a fit for you, then come meet us today! Like all of the pets at the Humane Society for Greater Nashua, I am up to date on all vaccines.
Hi, everyone! I’m Ronnie, a fun guy looking for a family to go on adventures with! I’m young at only 1½ years old, and I need an adopter who will take time to help me work on my manners and be the best dog I can be! You see, I still think I’m a puppy, and I’m really playful and exuberant, so just a little bit of training will help me with that. I could happily live with another dog and older kids as long as they could keep up with my play style. I would really love to be your hiking buddy and go out and about together. I love everyone who I meet! If you have room in your life for a goofball who will keep you smiling, then look no further. I hope you’ll come visit me today.
The Humane Society for Greater Nashua is at 24 Ferry Road, Nashua. Hours are noon-5 p.m. Monday, Tuesday, Thursday and Friday, and 10 a.m.-4 p.m. Saturday and Sunday. For more information, visit www.hsfn.org, call 889-2275 or email firstname.lastname@example.org.
Animal Rescue Network of New England
Petey, a delightful 5-year-old rat terrier, is a distinguished gentleman in his formal black-and-white tuxedo coat and brown sculpted eyebrows. His erect ears are endearingly radar-like, to better hear “Good boy, Petey!” Petey is an affectionate, medium-energy dog who loves people, dogs and cats. Gentle Petey has a calming presence and might enjoy therapy work. Petey has diabetes that is controlled with a closely monitored diet, daily exercise and twice-daily insulin injections (which are easy to learn). Petey has done wonderfully on his treatment regimen! Petey weighs 35 pounds but needs to continue losing weight, which is critical in diabetes management. Petey loves tennis balls, “stuffy” toys, car rides, walks, playing with his pack and snuggling in bed. Petey is desperate for a forever home that will commit to properly caring for him. In exchange, he promises a lifetime of adoration and loyal friendship.
Hours are by appointment only. For more information, visit www.arnne.org, email email@example.com or call 233-4801. Meet our adoptable pets at our monthly Pet Adoption Day at the Pelham Congregational Church, 3 Main St. The next one is 11 a.m.-2 p.m. Aug. 23.
