HOLLIS – The Beaver Brook Nature Center will host a mushroom walk from 10 a.m.-noon Sunday, July 27.

Walk leader Stephanie Doyle will take a group out on the trails in search of wild mushrooms.

Learn what features to use to safely identify wild mushrooms, including toxic species and edible species.

Doyle is a member of Monadnock Mushroomers Unlimited & Sandwich Area Mushroom Club. She was the president and founder of the UWF Mycology Club. She is a teacher and naturalist at Beaver Brook Nature Center.

Bring hiking shoes, a basket for carrying mushrooms found, bug spray and water. Meet at Maple Hill Farm, 117 Ridge Road.
