President Linda Twombly was presented with proclamations from the offices of U.S. Sen. Kelly Ayotte, Gov. Maggie Hassan and state Sens. Peggy Gilmour and Bette Lasky.

There were 14 members in attendance, along with Gilmour, Mayor Donnalee Lozeau and Neva Varsalone, from Ayotte’s office.

Members from the General Federation of Women’s Clubs New Hampshire included Nancy Greenberg, of Londonderry, who was the keynote speaker; Phyllis Appler, from the Hudson Women’s Club; and Ann Englehardt, of Windham.

Hilary Keating and Mary Tamposi, representatives from Harbor Homes, also were in attendance. Harbor Homes was a recent recipient of a $5,000 donation from the club.

The photographer for the day was Nicolette Pendry, Twombly’s granddaughter and past recipient of college scholarships from the Nashaway Woman’s Club.
