Jessa is desperately seeking sponsors to help her in her courageous battle against cancer. She recently underwent costly surgery to remove cancer, and her doctors were cautiously optimistic. Sadly, a recent exam revealed that cancer has invaded her lungs, a poor prognosis. Jessa is a lovely 7-year-old gray and white Shih Tzu who weighs a mere 15 pounds. She has the face of an angel, but the valiant heart of a warrior. Jessa lost her home when her guardian died. She has had to fight cancer while grieving for her loved one. As sweet as strawberry shortcake, Jessa loves everyone. ARNNE will continue to give her palliative care to keep her comfortable for as long as possible. While Jessa isn’t available for adoption, please consider sponsoring her so ARNNE can make the rest of Jessa’s life peaceful. After being a faithful companion to her elderly owner, Jessa deserves it!

To sponsor Jessa, please call 233-4801. Meet some of our adoptable pets at Monthly Pet Adoption Day on June 28. Visit (select Pet Adoption Day).

Hi, everyone! I’m a cute little 3-year-old miniature pinscher who will bring lots of fun and spunk to my new family. I can get a bit nervous, since I’m such a petite girl, but once you give me time to warm up, we are best friends for life! Staff members here say I love to snuggle up with them for some quiet time with my people after a day of adventures. My ideal day would involve running and playing with my doggie friends, lounging around on a big comfy bed and ending the day with a good cuddle! Because I need a little time to warm up, I need to live in an adult-only home. If you’re looking for a dog who has it all, then come meet me and we can start our new lives together today!

Hello, hello! Are you looking for a regal guy to call your own? Well, here I am! I’m a 6-year-old kitty who came to the shelter when my family had to move. It took me a few days to come out of my shell here, but now that I have, I’m friendly and loving. I will seek out attention from people and purr while rubbing against your legs. I also will engage in playtime and let you pick me up when it’s time to cuddle. Since I’m so social, I know I’ll make a wonderful new family member for kids and adults alike! I could probably even live with another kitty, too. Once you take one look at my big gold eyes and cute diamond marking on my forehead, I know it will be love at first sight!
