Rivier University Leadership Forum to host attorney general

NASHUA – The Rivier University President’s Circle will host a Leadership Forum on Thursday, Oct. 17, featuring a presentation by Attorney General Joseph Foster on the role of the state attorney general’s office and its impact on the business community.

NASHUA – The Rivier University President’s Circle will host a Leadership Forum on Thursday, Oct. 17, featuring a presentation by Attorney General Joseph Foster on the role of the state attorney general’s office and its impact on the business community.

Foster formerly was a Democratic member of the state Senate, representing the 13th District from 2002-08, and he served as the Senate majority leader in 2007-08. He was a member of the state House of Representatives from 1994-98.

Foster has served as director and member on the board of directors of the Greater Nashua Chamber of Commerce since 2002. He volunteers with Big Brothers Big Sisters, as well as on the Allocations Committee of the United Way of Greater Manchester.

The President’s Circle, composed of business and community leaders, opens dialogue and promotes the exchange of ideas and approaches for dealing with issues affecting the businesses and organizations of New Hampshire and Massachusetts.

The Leadership Forum will take place in the Dion Center, with breakfast and networking from 7:30-8 a.m., followed by Foster’s presentation from 8-9.
