Nine-year-old Billy got off the school bus about an hour after his teacher’s email reached his Mom. Digital definitely travels faster than diesel. Mom had the wisdom to play dumb long enough to hear from Billy that he’d had a good day in fourth grade. No, nothing had happened and, no, he had no homework. He planned to annihilate aliens for the rest of the afternoon but, not to worry the aliens bleed green when you shoot them, not red, so it’s not a violent game.
