Hudson man arrested after pharmacy robbery

HUDSON – A Hudson man was arrested Thursday afternoon following an attempted robbery of a Walgreens Pharmacy.

K.C. Lontine, 22, of Derry Street, was taken into custody without incident and charged with one count of robbery and another of narcotics possession after he allegedly entered the Walgreens on Derry Street around 1:45 p.m. and handed the pharmacist a note demanding unspecified narcotics, according to police.

Police say the pharmacist complied with the terms of the note and Lontine left the store, fleeing on foot in a southerly direction through the Abbott Farms condominium complex and the nearby 102 Plaza. Officers were dispatched to the area with a police dog for a brief period of time.

Lontine was quickly found by two detectives in the area of Baker and Cummings Streets, according to police. The area around the Walgreens remained roped off by police following his capture to question employees about the incident.

He is scheduled to be arraigned in a Nashua courtroom Friday. No bail was set at his request, according to Hudson police.
