Jennie M. Klein

Jennie M. Klein of Clarington, died at her home on March 20, 2012 at the age of 90. She was born in Pittsburghon September 27, 1921.
A graduate of South Hills High School in Pittsburgh, she received her R.N. degree at Homestead Hospital Nursing School, attended the University of Pittsburgh and did post-graduate studies at Margaret Hague Maternity Hospital in New Jersey. She also worked at hospitals in the Pittsburgh area and at one time was a nurse for the Continental Can Company in West Mifflin.
Jennie was a member of North Zion Evangelical Lutheran Church on Brownsville Road in Pittsburgh and an associate member of Mt. Tabor Presbyterian Church in Sigel.
She is survived by her husband, James S. Klein, (who died on March 23, 2012) and their two daughters, Patricia Long and her husband, Dr. Brenton Long of Clarion and Jaye Moelk and her husband, Rev. James Moelk of Erie. She is also survived by five grandchildren, three great grandchildren, and several nieces. She is the last member of her family.
A private family service will be held with burial in Eagle Rock, PA. The Goble Funeral Home & Crematory in Clarion is in charge of arrangements. On line condolences may be sent to the family by going to wwwgoblefh.net.
