NH kills 'parental rights' amendment - which was, I suspect, at least partly an anti-vax move

Who could be against a state constitutional amendment that says, in toto, "PROVIDING THAT: parents have the natural right to control the health, education, and welfare of their children"?
Happily, the New Hampshire house was against it, rejecting the idea of putting this vague time bomb in front of NH voters.
I don't know the reasoning behind the bill, but I know what one result would be: A surge in vaccination avoidance by people who saw something scary on the Internet. New Hampshire, as I've noted before, has a good, solid vaccination rate for our children, and we want to keep it that way.
