A reentry capsule inspired by coffee filters

The Mars rover isn't the only space-oriented story in The Telegraph today. My GraniteGeek column talks about students in a UNH program who sent a weather balloon to 105,000 feet, then had the electronic payload float down to Earth in an open Styrofoam container, without a parachute. The inspriation for the design? Coffee filters.
