It's not true that the world won't end on Dec. 12, except that it is true, because it won't. Got that?

I think I have read the best newspaper correction ever, about a subhead on a story debunking the Maya "end of world Dec. 21" foolishness. The subhead said Dec. 12 instead of 21 ... but how exactly do you correct that?
